Spring Summer 2021 Fashion Trends

After being at home for a whole year and wearing mostly pyjamas, this season brought with it a new attitude to fashion as well as the way we reappreciate life. Spring 21 collections give a sense of a slight change as well as keeping it calm.

Transparent and bold

The designers made a bold statement by transparent and thin garments, which represent how much we are delicate and how easy we have been globally exposed to a pandemic, which caught us naked.

Show Some Skin

Less cloth, More skin! The cutting in the last spring collections was an escape option for those who are still not bold enough to "wear naked” but want to show a bit of their beautiful body. This element allows the sexiness to be expressed also in basics, following the fact we currently can’t go anywhere.

Is It Party Time?

Sliver everywhere! The colour stands out this season, by glitter and sequins, but maybe it’s too early to celebrate since Covid 19 hasn’t gone yet, although spring 2021 brought a sense of optimism as a result of the will and dream, which is the pandemic will be over.

Neon The Lights

The neon trend doesn’t want to leave us, also as it finds its way back every year, which in some way makes it boring. This year is all about rebirth, renewal, looking at how we can do things differently, although the bright colours of pink, purple and yellow as shown in the collections of Balmain, Isabel Marant and Brandon Maxwell, indicate optimism, which we all need.

The Fashion Net

It’s quite ironic to see net over the runway following the fact we all got caught into a Covid 19 net. Although we have already seen this trend in Spring 2019, this trend is very appropriate for summer days as beachwear or as an upgrade to your clothes, but also this season presented it as a second layer for any fall or spring garment.
