While the world still facing a global pandemic, Iris Van Herpen is going back to the roots with couture created from digital pieces made using 3D printing.

The show gives us a sense of a fantasy world with princesses of nature, when each one of the looks represents an element of nature or maybe the nature itself by earth colours or purple and red representing bloom, like the mushroom and feathers like elements, the mint roots dress and the fact of having an upcycled marine debris in the collection fabrics. The 3-dimensional garments gave us the closest feeling of like in a live fashion show and in some way, although the show was digital, it gave the garment a life of its own, while the attention to details in an online fashion show is not less important as it is in couture itself, the combination of 3D printed, and handmade garment are innovative couture.
